  2. Related. Sharrows are street markings that depict where bikes travel. Living in Portland, I imagine you've seen quite a few of them:

  3. Ah, I see. I don't think the sharrows ever really took off, partly because the separate, marked bike lanes are fairly ubiquitous out here. (But we've still had far too many bicyclist deaths).
